Service Project
 Standard: 
 4c: Guide students on the importance of diverse perspectives and human-centered design in developing computational artifacts with broad accessibility and usability. This activity aligns with this standard because the students will be uploading artifacts, they will be creating on Nearpod and transferring that too Flip. This will help broaden the students perspective on developing design.
Hero Journey Story: 
We only have three TEKS/standards out of six team members however this is the Hero Journey story so far with three TEKS/standards, click here. 
Resources: 
We will use the Flip (engagement) so students can upload their drawings and butterfly puzzle, click here.  
We will use Nearpod (instructional delivery and assessment). The students will learn about the topic and interact through different task within the Nearpod, click here.

Questions: 
1.) How will you exemplify a learner response or two?
    - I plan to hear the responses and try my best to show the learner how to do the task or redirect them to the screencast if it is a question pertaining to uploading their artifacts.  
2.) How will you make your activity digitally creative and collaborative among the participants?
    - I plan to make this activity digitally creative by having the students interact with the Nearpod and the Flip. I plan to make this activity collaborative by telling the students to look through the Flip and see their classmates artifacts. Also when the students are working on the puzzle or drawing, they will work with their elbow partner. 
3.) How will you promote and support learners toward a CCISD Multimedia fair submission? 
    - I plan to talk about the fair and let the students know that they can use their artifacts from the activity for the submission. I plan to have the links to the CCISD Multimedia fair available so if anyone is interested I can show them the past winners and how to find everything.

4.) What question and sentence prompts will you use to demonstrate Growth Mindset and Appreciative Inquiry facilitation within your activity?  
    - If a student is struggling, I plan to say, "You know I wasn't good at this when I first was learning how to do all this. Everyone struggles but if we keep trying we can do it. I will be right here to help, just keep trying." I plan to just remain positive and let the students know it's okay to struggle, it's how we respond to the struggle that matters.   
Plan: 
- We don't have a set plan yet however this is what we were thinking so far; have the QR codes for the Flip, Nearpod, and the Hero Journey Story ready to go on the table or a poster, so when the students walk up they can get started. We will start with listening to the story and throughout the story we will stop and go to the Nearpod so the students are comprehending the story and topic. After the story and Nearpod are done the students will upload their artifacts (drawings) on Flip. Once that is done the students will start on their butterfly puzzle. Once the students finish their puzzle then they will upload it to Flip just like the drawing. Lastly, we are going to send the students home with a plant so we will put soil and a seed into a bowl and give it to the students.
